The 2026 course is now full. If you would like to go on the waiting list, please fill in the registration form (link below in the final paragraph) but don’t send any money unless we contact you to say a place has become available.
The Tavistock Branch of the Devon Beekeepers Association will be running a Beginners Beekeeping Course in central Tavistock, starting on 12 March 2026.
The six-week course will take place on Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm. This will be followed by an apiary visit shortly afterwards (date TBA) where you will have the opportunity to handle bees.
The course has no written work and there is no qualification attached to it, but our intention is for you to finish it feeling fully prepared and ready to begin keeping bees if you wish.
